For those who find our Just Steak pie too simple and maybe a bit bland we created Peppered Steak Pie. We added a good pinch of black pepper to the recipe to make it extra spicy! But to balance it all we also added some sweet and indulgent double cream.
As always, we use big chunks of quality steak beef, which we slow cook to make it tender and juicy. We make our shortcrust pastry bases ourselves and then carefully fill them to the brim by hand with steak and gravy (we call it ‘Crammed to the Crust’). We then hand finish the pie with a puff pastry lid.
We bake our pies as well, so it is ready to eat when you get them. But you of course can heat them up in an oven.
All our pies are made fresh to order and delivered by DPD.

Storage
Keep refrigerated, below 5°C.
Suitable for home freezing. Freeze within use by date and use within 6 months. Thaw thoroughly before heating. Once defrosted do not re-freeze.
Heating
Ready to Eat or may be heated.
To heat: Remove packaging. Preheat oven to 200°C/Gas mark 6. Heat for 20 mins or until piping hot.
